"A map for @DurinMining using ICMMs Global Mining Dataset to show which countries have a lot of metal-mines. 1) QGIS: loaded the CSV as points added Daniel Huffmans sweet Wargames hex-world .SHP ran count-point-in-polygon made touching hexes light up too (this is for a deck so let's max out visibility) exported the filtered hexes to GPKG. 2) Then to Illustrator + MAPublisher to shine it up: added an ADM0 hex file below my hexes-with-mines file colored the polys removed isolated rosettes"
