"Oracle pays Digital Realty $1.5M/MW. For Stargate of 400000 GB200 I think they pay $1B per year. So that's $0.83k/MW. But OpenAi pays ORCL $10B/year. So Oracle makes 10x the rev vs the lease costs. I think the difference here is that Crusoe only provides powered shells and Digital Realty is turn key. Yes cloud would be better but how do we get that much money for 2GW of GPU's. IREN should be the one with the contract and obviously they don't have it"

"$IREN I came across the old (previous period CY25 Q1) 13-F from Bit Capital GMBH. This is the largest shareholder of @IREN_Ltd. They were at the Childress site on the same day we visited. Here is a snapshot of their last reported $IREN holdings compared to the closing price of July 21st of $XXXXX. The calls only represent the value of the underlying shares. Ever since @IREN_Ltd closed the deal on the Sweetwater site we have been contemplating who will be the hyperscaler to sign with IREN. Now Horizon is being built we are doing the same for the Childress site. A few weeks ago everyone had Oracle as the number X choice. Its not even really up for debate the numbers are what they are. Lets look at $CLSK (Cleanspark) first excluding any gains or losses from fair value revaluation of their Bitcoin stack: - Dec XX 2024 quarter: -$8.23M operating loss - Mar XX 2025 quarter: -$10.373M operating loss Now compare that to $IREN over the same periods: - Dec XX 2024 quarter: $31.099M operating profit - Mar XX 2025 quarter: $35.527M operating profit Big difference."

"The cost of electricity depends on a lot of factors. Buying spot means they will pay the rate that is available. So we would have to look at the grid circumstances rather than to the capacity that $IREN owns. I'm not sure if they can get a discount for buying 2GW vs 750MW no idea.
