Every other Berkshire shareholder also has a share of those treasuries and to sell them en Masse would depress the price of treasury bonds. Treasuries earn one of the lowest interest rates of any bonds. The money is parked there not because it is so lucrative (it isnt) because he thinks the market is overvalued and he is waiting for a correction"
