"Re-reading The Dines Letter from 2012 and getting chills. James Dines was a legend. RIP. For those who dont know him he was the original $GOLD bug $URANIUM bug $SILVER bug and #rareearth bug. A visionary who told people to own essential materials in structural shortage long before it was fashionable. What he wrote thirteen years ago about Chinas rare-earth chokehold Western under-investment and the need for strategic supply chains couldve been written today. His line about holding miners of something essential in shortage with enough cash to outlast an average decline still hits hard in 2025"
