"My kid's school just sent a lengthy letter detailing the programs impacted by decreased federal funding: - executive coaches for principals - training & support for new principals - training for assistant principals - teacher recruiting - assistance for non-English speaking students - a text messaging app - support for a program that "creates ladders of equitable opportunities" in another city - online learning for teachers My gut tells me they'll cut programs that directly benefit the kids so they can fund programs that benefit teachers and administrators. Glad he's a senior"

"Just back from seeing Fantastic Four with the boyos. I enjoyed it way more than expected. Havent liked a Marvel move this much since Endgame. The female Silver Surfer is a non-issue. She was fine. Much ado about nothing. The Johnny/Ben relationship is awesome. They nailed the best friend/brother-from-another-mother dynamic perfectly. So enjoyable. They did Galactus well. I was more of an X-Men/Spider Man guy so my FF comic knowledge is spotty but I think they pulled off a comic-accurate representation and he was suitably intimidating.
