"See how Gamma XXX at 6720 dropped to XXX at 6780 This is Black Scholes Model calcs on Settlement. Dealer short gamma on the settlement IV. So when we came into the peak Gamma at 6780/6785 you can see it was after the gamma flip at 6770 that I told you about and slightly expanding on the current IV. Current IV vs. Settlement IV. This is the static Black-Scholes surface based on the prior sessions settlement vols. At settlement (gamma) decays upward the highest aggregate gamma sits lower (around 6720) and falls off toward 6780. Dealers are short gamma on this surface: as price rises they must"

"To make a long story not so painful because that gamma dropped from 6720 going into 6780 on Settlement IV I was not expecting the market to sit on that high gamma pin at 6780. I thought it would bounce. I guess the China on again off again trade deals have really wrung this market around like a wringer in an old fashioned washing machine. Because we are back on nobody is selling this market. I don't blame them. There's a lot of positivity in the market. So we are still sitting on this high G zone. It is a XX Point Zone. I knew it would be. 6770 - 6780. XX Point really 6770 - 6785. But market"
