It runs a two-sided ecosystem of hundreds of millions of consumers and millions of merchants. That scale creates a data moat where every transaction sharpens its BNPL fraud checkout tools etc. More consumers attract more merchants more merchants attract more consumers. It isnt just a payments processor its a global network where both sides reinforce each other. And as agentic commerce emerges where AI makes purchases on behalf of users PayPal is uniquely"
