"The Sumitomo Pavilion was built using trees from the Sumitomo Forest owned and carefully nurtured by the Sumitomo Group. Cutting down mature trees to promote generational renewal in the forest helps maintain a healthy and vibrant ecosystem. Among the trees used are some that were planted back in 1970. 🌲 The saplings planted by children in our reforestation program will be replanted in the very areas where the trees were harvested carrying the forests legacy into the future.
