"the problem is the credibility loss. Credit Suisse lost 5b in client money in Greensill. They nearly simultaneously lost their own money in Archegos. They later had a mild run on the bank and tried to assure clients that they had low risk. Clients (in this case including lots of Middle East UHNW) looked at this and said this is what you said about Greensill. Slow run turned into a torrent and Credit Suisse failed. Hypothesis: Greensill and losing client money was the most important death blow for Credit Suisse. This could be VERY bad for Jeffries. I have no position but do not pretend these"
