"Well even with all that they are much closer than you to have Monero. They have a working DEX wallet integrations node operators liquidity providers and proven track record of resisting censorship. "Some people seem to forget that Kayaba's work on Serai ends when the code works. Then you need liquidity providers and arbs who need to accept their BTC/ETH/DAI to be forever tainted because its in Serai LPs. And you need node operators who will face the risk of being brought to justice because they are facilitating money laundering crime etc. Thorchain has already passed this test in the Bybit hack and resisted all the pressure. For Serai it is yet to be seen. And one of the things that can help Serai to survive the regulatory pressure after its launch is to not be the only Monero DEX. Yes"
