"astera experienced a liquidity crunch yesterday that caused $asUSD to dip to 97c. the full system implements adaptive rates that would normally have increased the borrow rate autonomously but since we are slowly rolling out features alongside thorough audits the full system is not yet deployed. instead since supply is curated by astera we removed some liquidity from mini pools shifting utilization up the curve and increasing interest rates. while the system is being manually scaled we may see some fluctuations in liquidity conditions and this is totally normal. we will continue to manually"
