"@mnolangray I get your argument but I blame the high COL (as you noted driven by housing and taxes) in CA for the higher minimum wage. Its a lever the CA state gov keeps trying to use to little effect. In N Out TN ave wage: $13-14/hr CA ave wage: $22-23/hr"

"@mnolangray Its not lost on anyone that cheaper housing means lower wages (resulting from lower COL) as well. Not necessarily a bad thing but worth considering whenever a business owner touts moving somewhere with cheaper housing"
