Beyond Inc. / $BBBYWS etc. is just the renamed reorganized shell of the original Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. $BBBYQ which is still the debtor in Chapter XX. The liabilities creditors and classes like class X and class X are all still attach to the same entity unless and until the court confirms the plan and closes the case. Any issuance of new securities like $BBBYWS must wait until the estate pays out or settles priority claims"

"I dont think you guys realize that $BBBY warrants cant actually be delivered until the $BBBYQ Chapter XX case is fully resolved meaning Class X and Class X need to be paid or settled first. You cant just issue new securities like $BBBYWS warrants without clearing higher priority claims. So if theyre delaying the warrant delivery until Oct XX then that might just be the announcement weve all been waiting for"

"Im guessing because BBBY is still in bankruptcy and 2034 and 2044 bonds are showing on trading platforms bc theyre part of Class X in the Chapter XX plan and are still being resolved. Thats likely why IBKR restricted buying. You can close existing positions but you cant open new ones during this phase"
