"The idiocy of this playoff format strikes once again. Elliott is a huge part of the NASCAR franchise. Under no circumstances should he get favorable treatment but X times last X years wrecked at this track through no fault of his own. Happens to so many here. But when it happens to Elliott it is a big blow to an already weak series. Way past time for NASCAR to increase the HP to drag ratio at Dega and Daytona so NextGen cars have more control of their own fate and are not just anchored in a X wide box waiting for the big one. Especially in any kind of elimination format"
