While politicians trade blame and score points hundreds of vulnerable children in the care system are living in constant fear fear of exploitation fear of homelessness fear of hunger fear of death. These young people are not just falling through the cracks theyre being ignored discriminated against and written off. Every day they battle a system that sets them up to fail often carrying the weight of trauma into a lifetime of mental illness and despair. We can and must do better.
