"I get pitched all the time for debt deals yielding like 12-14% with monthly payments and first lien on the assets and its a polite no thanks I can just buy publicly traded fund yielding 8-10% and sell it whenever I want Theyd need to be offering 20%+ and even then I probably wouldnt do it tbh nor would it make sense for the borrowers"

"BTCI is a better option than treasury companies. But thats not saying much. BTCI will definitely underperform just buying Bitcoin thats the nature of covered calls you forgo the upside for the income If BTC trades down or flat it could outperform during those stretches The problem is those explosive moves upwards where BTCI will underperform BTC significantly. You are also exposed to the full downside of BTC but you dont catch those upswings because of the calls I still think its a better option that the treasury companies but not without some big downside risks involved"
