"I wouldnt necessarily say the strong rally in gold is tied to America being bankrupt but rather tied to the dollar. Central banks around the world have been deleveraging their dollar exposure and replacing it with gold creating upward pressure on gold prices and downward pressure on the dollar. The growing lack of trust and reliance on the dollar is also fueling the rally especially as the U.S. continues to print money without considering the long-term repercussions"
