"Superman's first week BO earnings playing out far more like a hit family movie than traditional super hero film. Its trend has pulled away from even the most popular CB films of the last few years. If the wknd holds strong and F4 doesn't break out it could reach extreme highs"

"Did Superman round three tonight. Fullish theater and the crowd really ate it up. At this point I think it's safe to say that Gunn's latest hit quite strong with US audiences. F4 will eat up some business for sure but I think this reception puts the DCU on a firm path forward"

"@FinalE33 @NickZednik I think perhaps a good comparison here is Ironman. That film didnt destroy the box office weekend one (but quite well) yet it kept on gaining viewers and popularity and was incredibly well received setting the tone for the entire MCU. Superman could do the same"

"Feige also added. With that said I am just a little disappointed our stunt to release reactions from an overseas XX minute preview of F4 at the same time as Supermans social reactions embargo didnt create any noise. Gosh I didnt even see any of our impressions out there"
