"You dont automatically switch in pokemon. You have to choose one or you just stand there defeating the purpose of afking. I started using turbo A and just locking on to pokemon with one hand while doing something else but that also sucks. I want a way to have something press the trigger on a controller for a few seconds and stop but im not buying an arduino and parts just for this one thing lmao"

"Even then it's NO WHERE NEAR. I beat everything else caught all pokemon and have gotten to rank XX in late game (no spoilers) and I just barely hit XXX after afking some restaurant battles. I literally have XXX mil money now and dont "need" anything else for shiny hunting but I now have to grind XXX more battles for the 1k points even though I only need XXX points for level XX This is by far the worse choice in the whole game"

"Sv was one of the most fun experiences we've had in modern pokemon BUT it was so bad on release that I never touched the dlc. Later on I went back to try the 1st but it was so laggy I stopped midway. After the switch X version I finally went back and 100%'d both dlcs and it was great. Sure they need a lot more but now that performance and resolution aren't problems it's a great step in the right direction In fact out of my 60+ hours in ZA I actually don't think I had a single frame drop which is actually kind of crazy"

"I think its pretty unfair to make the argument "well it's for kids" because all of us and Nintendo know that's not true at all. Kids do play the games but kids aren't buying both copies of big releases and buying pokemon center kitchen utensils and merchandise. If you look at the pokemon website products that they offer it becomes very obvious they know their audience is not just kids"

"100% You could not walk an inch without hop or some other annoying character dumping uninteresting dialogue on your head or wanting to heal you before their underleveled bad team can be swept. There was just no freedom at all except for the wild area which only made things worse for being *more* overleveled against the weak teams everyone had It sucks because the region does have a lot to offer but between the mediocre story and very easy/hand holdy gameplay things were rough"
