I got up off the couch about a year ago a picked up a lacrosse stick for the first time in a decade. Today I scored a goal to help my team qualify for the World Championships. A lot of blood sweat and tears went into this and a lot of sacrifices not just from me but from the people around me to help me live my dream. But if Im playing Im playing to win. Had two goals today and was able to provide a spark on offense. Fifth place in this tournament was a best case scenario in my head going into this. It was an incredible experience with an incredible group of guys and we accomplished something special. Game got very chippy on both sides and we absolutely lost our cool. Lacrosse is an intensely physically demanding sport and emotions run high. It was our 6th game in X days and we let our physical and mental fatigue get the best of us. We get another opportunity against France tomorrow afternoon.
