"#tropicswx We have a huge model grand ensemble showing #Melissa's most likely scenario. Melissa gets picked up by the trough in the Great Lakes region & said trough shrinks letting the ridge build up again & make it go further west. Then a new trough in the MS River Valley makes Melissa move on up through #Cuba. The evolution of this is still yet to be finalized but it's looking likely that Melissa will slow down near Hispaniola & bring heavy rain to there. Note that the more further west it goes the more potent rapid intensification could be. Melissa is likely to become the most notable"

So clearly Melissa is sheared even with the LLC trying to peak out again. It may take a while before things get going"
