In the XRP community there have always been those who believe $XRP will reach sky-high prices with the claim that XRP has no market cap because it is a currency. This logic overlooks basic economic principles and how currencies are valued and traded. The US dollar for example has a total monetary base (M1 M2) representing the value of all dollars in circulation. Its price fluctuates daily in global forex markets according to supply demand and liquidity"
