"Hidden gem of a pickup. Extremely low cost add for SF lots of potential in a player that just wasnt developed in New England. Freakishly high physical traits just missing refined techniques. If anybody can create an elite D-line player from a previously underutilized talent its the SF coaching staff. White may not have a huge impact for the remainder of this season (although he will still improve the line now) but I can envision him being a breakout player next season. "I walked this back several weeks ago but am still owning my miscalculation. Once the 49ers lost Warner the intent shifted from 2025 to a two year plan and I accepted that the Hendrickson deal was probably dead. Things changed and they are shifting still. Despite the scuttlebutt that the 49ers are interested in him I dont see it happening. His nagging injuries sealed it for me. I think the Niners will make X trades in the next week but dont see either of them involving Cincy"
