"MVPs dont matter as much as whether youre solving real problems and adding value. The first wave of agentic commerce solutions (powered by VCCs) have clear teething issues. They disintermediate merchants confuse shoppers and put LLMs in a tricky spot in the liability chain. From a payments perspective agentic commerce depends on X things: tokenization authentication and checkout APIs. These are areas we've been building / optimizing for decades at Adyen which positions us really well in this space. As always were working very close to our customers to shape the right solutions"
