"Good Morning Ive been digging into Portals architecture and the way they do cross chain swaps is honestly brilliant. Heres the simplest way I can explain it: 1: You want to swap BTC for ETH. 2: @PortaltoBitcoin smart contracts lock both sides of the trade using the same secret. 3: The trade only completes when both sides reveal that secret no custody no bridging no risk. It uses something called HTLCs and threshold signatures so no one party can steal funds. The swaps are native so your BTC stays BTC and your ETH stays ETH. No wrapping. No synthetic tokens.
