"Investing in $SOC was hands down the worst investment decision of my life. Even if it triples from here: a complete clusterfuck and brain cancer weighing down on my portfolio and my attention during the most ridiculous bull market in decades. I could have bought $ASTS or $IREN and quite literally have reached my number. Both were pitched to me several times early this year. Instead I chose the dumbest story of the stock market in the most asinine jurisdiction of all times. Endless regret"

"I am out of $SOC save for a few left over call options which are immaterial at this point. I have lost twice the $ amount on Sable than I had lost on my prior biggest equity position loss. It is especially painful cause at the end of May it would have been my biggest winner ever but I failed to sell It will take some time to derive all learnings from this but from the top of my head the most obvious ones: - No position at cost bigger than X% ever again - Never again will I buy a battle ground stock with a high short interest for more than X% of NAV. Why Because of how they are lauded in RR On Bluesky FB Youtube or IG In Newspapers Wherever you look people formats media celebrities hate on them they get ridiculed framed etc. Yet somehow people increasingly vote for them. My best explanation for why that is is Twitter where more and more people get in touch with reality and that makes them reconsider how they want to vote.
