"I remember when we moved to the new office at Lehman in 2004 everyone was excited for the shiny new trading floor in Canary Wharf away from the cramped mice-infested low ceilings of the office in the City. Get there and there's no atmosphere. Weirdly dead. It was the spaciousness.the desks were bigger colleagues to your right and left were further away the rows between desks were huge so the person sitting behind you was twice the distance away as before. The ceilings were high there was no echo from the noise like in the City. We used to shout over to the govvie desk for prices but now they"
