"I was chatting to a couple on the Grand Union Canal towpath by Little Venice London who told me they travelled by narrowboat all the way from here to Salthouse Dock Liverpool. It took them a leisurely X weeks involving navigating hundreds of locks. They adored Liverpool and said they regret returning to London because they don't feel safe anymore and are considering going back.
