The priesthood of all believers means we all have equal access to God through Christ and are gifted to serve the church. But this isn't the same thing as a full abolishment of a clergy laity divide. Pastors are shepherds congregation members are not. Pastors are held accountable for the flock in a way congregation members are not. Pastors are entrusted with certain responsibilities that congregations members are not. Pastors must meet specific qualifications that"
