"RFV was an answer to the call for "realism" that the fandom has always "wanted." And that was honestly a test case for new tech (with Silver Phantom) too so I'd argue it doesn't really count. It was kicking around during the GQX phase too so that's also why. Can't really do that entry in any other timeframe honestly. And arguably OYW is the easiest to adapt/shoehorn compared to others. Zeta/ZZ struggles with new material because tech gets more outlandish for the timeframe. "I mean it's falling into the same pitfall any manga magazine is honestly. Kadokawa seems to be a bit more flexible when it comes to delays versus companies like Shueisha and whatnot. But not the magazine isn't in it's prime anymore (and they did talk about struggles in interviews past). Manga can be difficult but the artists make it work one way or another but that wasn't the point I was trying to make. As for "niche" I guess that's subjective. For three month chunks they'd have 200K issues in circulation but that started to progressively fall to somewhere around 150K before metrics cut off"
