"Ive tried automating /NQ few times in the past heres some of my conclusions: 1) Half Life of an /NQ Automated System is really short X weeks. It works in current regime stuff changes and it starts hallucinating. 2) I tested it in Live Environment so what threw me off significantly was Slippage and Commissions. 2-5 Point differences across hundreds of trades few contracts add up a lot. basically diminishing the entire edge (that I had at least) since this primarily worked against you never with you. 3) This may be controversial/Hot Take but this comes directly from my Experience so Backtesting"
