Ukrainian President Zelensky signed a law dismantling independent anti-corruption agencies, sparking widespread protests in Kyiv and concern among Ukrainians. The move has been criticized by Ukrainian military intelligence chief Budanov, who emphasized the importance of strong institutions alongside a strong military. Protests have taken place in Kyiv, with demonstrators chanting "veto the law".
