"@FI_investor Hopefully moving forward they do better than they have in the past. I figure they've spent almost $15 billion in buybacks and have only reduced share count by 5% since [----]. Most of the buybacks offset stock issued to management. It's one of my big hesitations on $PYPL"

"Great questions @stonkmetal I don't know the business well either. Management may be betting on falling interest rates From a defensive standpoint paying down debt is never a bad option. Quick looks shows EBIT/Interest expense as only [---] so first reaction is I'd rather see that reduced before heavy buybacks"

"@investwithwes1 Thats a recipe for underperformance if Ive ever seen one Its hard to outperform (or even keep up) even if you have heavy US exposure and arent in the big tech stocks. Love the focus on risk/reward and not performance in the recent past"

"I can see a "price goes no where while earnings grow" multiple contraction for Costco. That's not exactly what happened with Microsoft. Microsoft did trade quite expensive during the internet bubble. But when the bubble burst their revenue and profits took a hit PC sales were slumping and it took [--] years for profitability to recover to [----] levels. Cloud was nowhere to be seen at that point so the stock got cheap (10x earnings or so) and it took the decade+ for the stock price to recover. Anything is possible but I don't see Costco profits dropping 40% like Microsoft's did or Costco trading"
