"The National Guard are troops who train fought and died in Iraq and Afghanistan in the same numbers as Active Duty. The only difference is active duty were not sent to Atlanta Georgia to protect CNN headquarters during the mob riots of 2020 and 2021. This was the only time in my XX year career that I was ashamed to wear the uniform and the orders I passed down to my soldiers. I failed them and then retired"
