"Theres no other place to attack that isnt NATO involved with China (Central Asia) militarily a nightmare (Azerbaijan) inaccessible (Moldova) already aligned (Belarus) or moving in that direction (Georgia). Georgia might be a target if it changes course again. Kazakhstan could be a target because of the large Russian ethnic enclave in the north (and the Russians have threatened that) but I doubt it. I dont know that Russia would collapse if the war ends but it will certainly see banditry and poverty that would make the 1990s look like a fairy tale. Iraq might help only if it could figure out whether to take political cues from Tehran Washington or the guy with the loudest pickup truck in Basra.
