"California banned staking rewards and was the main reason why I pulled most of my money out of Coinbase - it just wasn't worth keeping the money there objectively speaking. Is it their fault necessarily No but that was nonetheless the outcome. I still say that exchanges should focus on their lane of being an exchange rather than a bank. Right now it's doing neither very well and got spread too thin. "I was looking at @everstake_pool's staking options this week but noticed that some of the offerings were either pulled or went to 0% recently. $EGLD being taken off the list was kind of a surprise since last I checked they were offering 8-9%-ish which was pretty competitive compared to most other places. "Kind of the big problem with the NFT space in the last few years is that too many places were too focused on minting NFTs as their business model rather than building on top of existing communities itself. A lot of startups underestimate how difficult it is to build communities from scratch - it requires much more than just a nice website and good tech to get that critical mass of users to start that feedback loop. When everyone has their own minting contract with their own custom code and no universal standards it also makes indexing a pain and reduces legibility by the public at large. Both"

But an honest look at what happened since 2016- I've been mostly disappointed with.so I left them entirely at this point. It's a very different project than Tezos but I can respect their commitment to decentralization and security at least from what I've seen. Having trouble finding news about it though.
