The oxide cap of these things are almost done. $ANTO.L Centinela mine for example will lose 100ktpa of Cu production as the oxides deplete. and they will need to spend US$4bn in capex to ensure the sulphides can maintain the existing production rate. more crushing more grinding means more power and fresh water. things that are scarce in a desert at 4000m altitude. sure they capture the byproducts like gold and moly which"
