"Loved The Beach when I first saw it. It honestly helped spark my urge to travel. Ive been to Thailand countless times since and it still has a special place in my heart. Exchanges only took USD ATMs worked only for local cards and there were maybe two in the whole city. The guy next door was Chinese always on the phone door always open. I still had some RMB with me from a China stay. He exchanged it and literally saved me. That moment really drove home how powerful languages are. Thats why Ive started learning Spanish now.
