"I think this Polymarket/Kalshi volume reporting story is being blown out of proportion in general this is a problem across all of crypto. Looking at perps rankings specifically. Volume leaders Open interest leaders. Hyperliquid Lighter Aster tell a different story when you look at OI vs volume. Obviously we need to be careful about hyping up inflated metrics but on a deeper level more emphasis needs to be placed on asset utilization and real economic activity. "This is true but misses something important. Non-USD stablecoins struggle because everything in crypto (and most of global commerce) is denominated in USD. Meaningful adoption requires either: USD losing reserve currency status or a generational shift in how people mentally price assets. Neither is happening soon"
