To me it was not due to an EPS miss but more growth deceleration in personal motor. $ROOT is a personal motor insurer and market might fear they might show same growth deceleration. Totally agree that they have pivoted to embedded insurance and strategic partnerships and could well be more resilient. Also the underwriting philosophy is not same for both companies so $ROOT might well not show this deceleration.
