"Nest.js and Angular use them heavily. They got borrowed from C# though theyre still not standard JS. Nest.jss approach makes sense (similar to .NETs attribute-based routing) but they do have that magical quality that can feel uneasy. They work well for logging too. In some scenarios they behave like JS proxies so maybe theyre just syntactic sugar for that pattern"
