"I am leaning bearish on housing which I normally play in the markets by shorting the homebuilders (spec LEN) and self storage reits. $LEN - normally trades on gross margin which is XXXX% last quarter and could go lower if home prices contract. They target XX% margins. Self storage ( $PSA $EXR and $CUBE and more recently $SMA) trade on yoy %chg in move in rates / "street rates" which is volatile month to month but improving or getting less worse than 2024. I am getting less bearish as the data comes out"
