"It's a compromise that I would speculate on is ok with institutions (for now). 🤔 Order books give you more control and certainty over the price for which you want to buy/sell. (Better for most people and companies alike) For liquidity they will very likely simply pay professional market makers instead that will help with the order books on a pDEX. "A little bit off topic but one fascinating fact about upscaling TPS is that there are also downsides. 🫣 @JoelKatz really opened my eyes to this as it's not as trivial as you might think it is. The moment you scale up TPS on XRPL let's say via parallel processing this means more transaction "bloat" will end up on XRPL (it's a financial database after all). The ledgers grow bigger hosting full history nodes or infrastructure in general will cost more and someone has to pay the cost for storing more data on-chain.
