"The Farcaster news really should not surprise anyone. I wrote about Farcaster's wallet gaining momentum X months ago. They had 100K+ funded wallets then ran a campaign and saw an additional spike in activity In the case of Farcaster specifically my two cents is that they have spent all this time developing a social media platform but it's yet another place where creators have to start from zero. That is why I personally have not spent time over there. Farcaster has built a great crypto miniapp store though. To me that's what's appealing about it. I'd like to see them add DeFi too I go on the Zuck app to write a sentence about the weather and it gets 150+ likes within a few hours while posting anything on Farcaster with a new account is like howling into the void (negative feedback loop).
