"$AMD and $NVDA paying 15% of revenues is massive and a serious escalation in the tariff war. In [----] $AMD sold $6.2B worth of chips into China almost 25% of their total revenue. The latest fiscal year shows $NVDA sold over $17B around 13% of their total sales. With the new tax in place based on these figures alone the US would be collecting around $3.5B annually from them Targeting specific sectors and companies is a new move that will worry a lot of companies in the US.
