The two games attended were in Raleigh (2006 Game 1) and Anaheim (2007 Game 2). Both teams were on the ice in Anaheim last night as Carolina won 4-1 and remains undefeated. The first decade of the 2000's was rough. Lots of hard times but things opened up in both 2006 and 2007 where positive moments were there. Florida State defeated Notre Dame 31-27 in a thriller in Doak that remains one of the best games I've seen to date in Doak Campbell or any stadium. The atmosphere that night in Doak was second to none. Yes there have been incredible games over the years in Doak Campbell but the atmosphere that night was special.
