"$MREO $RARE Notes from KOL call: Bisphosphonates work on bone turnover which has shown a better correlation with reduction in fractures; when that data first emerged it was considered a major win compared to having no options at all. Fracture events went from hundreds to roughly XXX. BMD has not shown a strong correlation to fracture reduction but it is still beneficial for improving long-term bone quality. OI patients can have very hollow bones which leads to higher fracture risk. Setrusumab does show some effect on bone turnover which is viewed as a positive but the dataset is still small"
