"Was it evident when he finished 2nd to Xander Schauffele in the 2024 PGA Championship and won the 2024 US Open while playing on the LIV League The fact that Bryson contended in those majors this year doesn't actually support your case. He wasn't dominating on the LIV League but not getting it done in the majors. He played some good golf in 2025 but struggled with consistency on his approaches. That's not a league/tour issue. "People will have their own opinion on Sergio Garcia and that's fine. People can feel that he should have taken the Joaquin Niemann approach to the DPWT sanctions and fines. One point of context and distinction missing from that take is the following. Joaquin Niemann hasn't spent over XX years of his pro career supporting the European Tour only to be treated with disdain and contempt by said tour. Sergio was never sanctioned and fined by the European Tour when he moved to play fulltime on the PGA Tour. "So be it. Those older stars are team captains with team equity. There is plenty they can do off the course at LIV event functions and even play in the Pro Ams should they not play well enough to escape relegation. It's not 2024 anymore and LIV needs higher quality play at the mid and lower level of their roster. As for Phil and Bubba had they been relegated in 2024 played well in some International Series events or at Augusta the teams can resign them for the 2026 year"

"Haven't they already set the standard with a multi-year suspension of Hudson Swafford Expect a lawsuit if they open arms for Brooks after advising Hudson that despite him not playing on LIV in 2025 he must wait until 2027 to play in any PGA Tour affiliated event. I guess Brooks is happy to just sit out the 2026 year playing only in the majors or DPWT event invites waiting for his multi year suspension to be over in 2027"
