"im not saying base won't do well but the hold part could be said the same about solana tokens there's lots of tokens doing well and i see lots of base tokens being sold off its a matter of perspective. plus solana has pre defined contracts which are not custom unlike base which is an L2 to ethereum and allows custom contracts to be built which can turn into honey pots or other scams alike which will make normies run away as opposed to sol where the worst thing is a bundled rug. however sol can deploy tokens much faster which makes it easier to saturate"
