"I think youll be proven wrong in the long-term. iPhones slow charging when theyre approaching their limit as well. Apple is the leader in that space and Tesla is the leader in this space. They have the number of the vehicles on the road and the longer history with which to draw their data from. However the longer I sit and think about it the more sense it makes and now Im seriously considering it. Unlike many I am a farmer living on a farm and also managing rental properties. "My wife just wrapped up a [----] mile road trip to Wyoming Montana Utah & back via I-90 (outbound) and I-80 (return) with our daughter in the Model Y. Shes just a normal person not a Tesla nerd. No problems on the trip using the CCS adapter a handful of times helped her shave some extra road time off (especially in Wyoming) and explore a little deeper. They saved thousands on hotel rooms by sleeping in the back on the Tesla air mattress. This is a trip well be repeating over and over again but every year well have even more exploring margin as they add new superchargers"
